Right Ways to Hang Art Pieces Adroitly...
posted by Rehana Akter
Many of us like to collect art pieces, snapping pictures, or printing posters. However, the hard truth is we keep these items in boxes for years most of the times. It is because skillful hanging of art pieces is not as easy as to collect them. You can consider the following suggestions for hanging your art pieces: Simplicity is the best option. If you are befuddled with the color combination of mats and frames, go for the simplest one – black and white. White mats and black frames is the most versatile color combination that can be used at anywhere. However, you can also choose colored frames if you want to enliven the surroundings. Another good trick is to hang the pieces at eye level. You may notice that most of the art galleries hang pictures at average eye level. It will be irritating and uncomfortable to the eyes if you hang pictures too high on the walls. So, do some math before hanging art pieces in order to spot the right height. Do not forget to adjust for furniture underneath. If not calculated precisely, you might end up creating a bizarre-looking large gap between the art and the furniture underside. And, for kid’s room, hang the items a little bit lower than usual. A grid style art hanging may need some patience on your part, but it is a very good way to make a big statement. Through this style, you can also keep focus on a particular image if you want to. Place the picture that you want to highlight in the center and adjust other pieces around it by keeping two to three inches distance between the frames. If you have a spectacular frame, highlight it by placing alone on a...

It’s easy to build a home office. Most people work on the computer now, so it is simple to just buy a really big desk, table lamp, and chair, and you’re in business. A good notebook, of a big size, is also a good recommendation. Your home office is ready to set up once you’ve got those three elements. You can get a fold-out table so it is easy to move around to different parts of the house. You can also get a table lamp that is aluminum to match the look of your notebook. The chair should be at least $2,000, and be highly comfortable. If you are not as comfortable as possible in your chair, then you are not going to really relax in your home office. You should also get an aluminum table because it is the best color to match up with your notebook. These key elements will contribute to a really great home office. A good floor lamp should also be positioned next to your desk so that it will lend a lot more light to your direction while you’re working. This will make it easier to work, and you can spend more time on the computer. Photo credit: home office design...
Bedroom Ideas For Girls...

When designing and decorating a room for a girl, it is best to go with bright but soft colors such as pink, white, or a light blue. A mixture of colors will add balance and make the room much more dynamic to fit her lifestyle. For teenage girls, it might be a good idea to have a full body mirror and crisp lighting for makeup application. Large windows are always a plus especially because it promotes energy conservation and natural lighting. Designing a more spacious room is also a good idea because more than likely she will have lots of sleepovers to show off her awesome room! P.S: Don’t forget the wallpaper! This makes her room more exciting. I recommend letting her choose the pattern or go for the cool magnetic photo...

Shows we wish would come back...

When these shows ended, most of us were left out in the open. We were vulnerable to new TV series like The Dome. While we all loved and now miss these shows, something deep inside of us knows that it is time to let go. Every good thing must come to an end and we now have to let these shows rest. The Sopranos As we followed the life and times of a fat New Jersey crook, we couldn’t help but fall in love with this series. Tony and his crew had no respect for the life of others but they loved one another like a family. It’s a great series for those who have not yet seen it. The late (great) James Gandolfini delivered an award winning performance as mob boss Tony Soprano. Breaking Bad This only shows that a man will do whatever it takes to provide for his family. It’s easy to say there is a Walter White in may of us but what about Heisenberg? Is he in you? This show, just like the Sopranos only went on for 6 seasons but man was it great! ...

Brazil’s Pele is the only player to win three World Cups: in 1958, 1962 and 1970. The number of players who recorded two hat tricks at the World Cup: Hungary’s Sandor Kocsis (both in 1954), France’s Just Fontaine (1958), West Germany’s Gerd Muller (1970) and Gabriel Batistuta (one in 1994 and one in 1998). Russia’s Oleg Salenko scored a tournament-record five goals in one game during a 6-1 win over Cameroon at the 1994 World Cup in the United States. Scotland has qualified for the World Cup on eight occasions. All eight times it failed to advance beyond the first round. Mexico lost a record nine straight games at the World Cup (1930, 1950-58). How To Design Your Home After Spanish Revival Style?...
posted by Rehana Akter
The Spanish Colonial Revival style is named after an architectural stylistic movement in the United States. It was started from Florida and California in the early 20th century and was influenced by the Panama-California Exposition. The stylistic movement was an expression of regional environment, history, and nostalgia. This particular style reached the culmination of its popularity in between 1915 and 1931. It is extensively used in small commercial buildings and single-level detached houses. If you are a fan of this particular style, you can follow these following tips to bring a touch of Spanish Revival style in your home. Use Wrought Iron: One prominent feature of this style is the use of wrought iron. Try to use wrought iron throughout your home. For example, you can use wrought iron made chandelier, stair railing, candlestick attached to the wall, etc. Just be sure not to pack your house with wrought iron made stuffs. Use Stucco on Walls: Use fine plaster or stucco to coat the surfaces of the walls. Paint your walls with layers of warm tones and see how it changes the tone of your home. Sometimes kitchen hood and fireplaces can also be painted with stucco. Decorate Your Home with Cut Steel Work: Try to add steel-cut accessories to décor the interior of your home. Cut steel stuffs and furniture add a certain Moorish touch to your home. For example, you can hang a couple of metal pendants from the ceiling of any room of the house. Use Dark-colored Wood: Use of wood in home interior is very common and you can give your home a Spanish touch by choosing that wood from deep dark tones. You can use that dark-toned wood in the entry door and casing; entry table; plank floors, and...
